Laugher spearheads GB diving squad for European Championships

Triple Commonwealth Games champion Jack Laugher spearheads Great Britain’s diving team for the 2018 European Championships.

Laugher, who also won two medals at the recent FINA Diving World Cup in China, is one of 15 in the GB squad taking part in the event at the Royal Commonwealth Pool, Edinburgh, from 6 to 12 August as part of Glasgow 2018.

Leeds-based Laugher, who claimed a bronze in the 3m springboard and a synchro silver alongside Chris Mears in China, said: “The pool in Edinburgh has some great memories for me as it is where I won my first Commonwealth title with Chris.

“It will be great to return and face a new challenge.”
