Swim England launches first Level X Diving Dryland Games

Divers across the country are being given the chance to take part in the first ever Swim England Level X Diving Dryland Games.

The exciting event will see entrants submit videos of themselves completing various dryland skills which will then be scored by a panel of judges.

The top 10 male and top 10 female entrants in each of the age categories will then be broadcast during the online streamed Showcase Event via Facevook Live on Saturday, 20 March. In total, there are three age categories: 8-10, 11-13, 14-17.

Certificates will be awarded to the top three placed in each category for both male and female, with the winners in each category being invited to attend one of the Swim England Diving virtual training sessions.

You can now register for the event by clicking here. Entries will close on Thursday 4 March at 12 midday

‘Heart of our sport’

Suzie Collins, Swim England diving talent development officer, said: “We are thrilled to be running this event for all of our Category 2 members.

“This will be an exciting, inclusive event for athletes to enter the competition arena once again.

“We recognise that competition is at the heart of our sport and so wanted to replicate that experience as best we could for our athletes, while acknowledging the fact we can’t get into the water at this current time.”
