The group of 13 will travel to Brno, Czech Republic to play in the tournament, which runs from Friday 24 May through to Sunday 26 May.

The host country, Czech Republic, are among a list of potential opponents awaiting England, should they progress through the group stage.

But first, England will face Scotland and then Serbia in Group C, with the match against Scotland taking place on the opening day of the tournament.

The full list of countries that will be competing is: Czech Republic, Serbia, England, Switzerland, Ireland, South Africa, Scotland, Hungary, Thailand, Wales, Belgium and Finland.

Norman Leighton, the England team manager, said: “This is a talented squad that has been selected. I am sure that they will prove to be good ambassadors for our national programme in Brno.”

The format of the tournament will see the 12 teams split into four groups of three teams each, with each group playing in a round robin type format.

The next round of the tournament will see the four group winners form Group E and the four group runners-up form Group F. The third placed teams will form Group G.
