U17 and U19 National Age Groups cancelled

Swim England has cancelled the Swim England Water Polo National Age Group Championships (U17 & U19) 2020, which had been due to take throughout the next few weeks, before the final at Basildon Sporting Village on 2 – 3 May.

The Swim England Water Polo National Age Group Championships (U17 & U19) 2020 is one of a number of forthcoming events cancelled due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.

The decision has been taken following the Government’s announcement to implement increased social distancing, avoid crowds gathering and carrying out any unnecessary travel.

All competitions organised by the national governing body that are scheduled to be held between now and the end of May have been called off.

While the U17 and U19 Championships have been cancelled, there are currently no plans to cancel the U15 Championships, due to take place later in the year.
