The university have gyms in both the city centre and Clifton locations while they train at the University of Nottingham’s pool.

Nottingham Trent University Water Polo Scholarships

Nottingham Trent University offers a number of scholarship awards each year to student athletes from a range of different sports and junior or senior international level water polo players are eligible to apply for one of these scholarships.

While the number of sport scholarships is limited and depends on the standard of applications received, Nottingham Trent University may offer an annual bursary of up to £2,000.

Students with a Nottingham Trent University Water Polo Scholarship would also be entitled to a comprehensive support package including access to performance workshops, lifestyle support, strength and conditioning coaching, sport scholar kit and access to physiotherapy.

The scholarship scheme also offers a degree of academic flexibility, and complimentary Sport and Fitness membership, allowing unlimited access to all NTU sport and fitness facilities.

Sports Facilities at Nottingham Trent University

Nottingham Trent University boasts a two-storey, 100-station gym at their City Sports Centre facility based in the university’s students union.

The gym has a wide range of cardio equipment such as treadmills, cross-trainers, bikes, steppers and rowers as well as resistance stations, cable resistance equipment and a free weights area.

The university also has a second gym at the Lee Westwood Sports Centre in Clifton, including 56 stations with a full range of cardio and resistance machines.

Nottingham Trent University have close ties with the University of Nottingham and offer reduced price membership to the 25m University Swimming Pool.
