University of East London Water Polo Scholarships

A University of East London Water Polo Scholarship is available through their High Performance Sport Programme.

Scholars must be seeking to study for a minimum of one year as an undergraduate or postgraduate-level student and will need to re-apply each year while support includes a up to £5,000 bursary plus up to £1,000 of support services.

The High Performance Sport Programme also includes access to physiological fitness testing, strength and conditioning support, sports psychology, therapy and biomechanics, and lifestyle and mentoring support.

Sports Facilities at the University of East London

The Docklands campus of the University of East London features the £21 million sports facility SportsDock which was the USA’s high performance training base for the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

SportsDock features a 120-piece fitness centre containing Precor P80 equipment as well as a fully equipped strength and conditioning room.

Students with University of East London Water Polo Scholarships can also make use of the university’s close links with the Queen Elizabeth II Olympic Park, which is where their swimming team train in association with the London Aquatics Centre Performance Programme and Newham Swimming Club.
