University of Worcester Water Polo Scholarship

While the University of Worcester does not currently have water polo teams, they offer a range of elite athlete scholarships.

Scholarships include a bursary and a range of support, while there is a fully equipped sports centre at the university’s main campus.

University of Worcester Water Polo Scholarships

There are support packages available for a range of team and individual sports and talented players are encouraged to apply for a University of Worcester Water Polo Scholarship.

There are three tiers of scholarship packages available ranging from a gold package for athletes competing on the world stage to bronze packages for athletes working on a talent identification programme within the national governing body.

Financial bursaries range from £100 to £2,000 and support packages include strength and conditioning programmes, sports therapy support, gym membership, athlete lifestyle advisor and a University of Worcester sports clothing bundle.

Sports Facilities at the University of Worcester

The Sports Centre on the University of Worcester’s St John’s Campus includes a fully equipped fitness suite for cardio vascular and weight training.

The University of Worcester swimming club train at the 25m pool at Kings School in the centre of Worcester. There is also a new pool and gym facility at the centrally-located Perdiswell Leisure Centre.
