Entries for the Henley Mile close today

The ASA is attending the Henley Mile on the 12 July to promote Masters Swimming and support those taking part in the event.

The event provides a rare opportunity to swim safely and supervised in one of the most picturesque stretches of the River Thames, taking on distances of either one mile, half a mile or 200m.

Children over the age of eight are welcome to take part in the day’s competition, and there are lots of activities going on at the Open Water show for the entire family to enjoy.

Entries close at midnight tonight, (6 July) so make sure you put yourself forward for the Henley Mile now to avoid disappointment.

The ASA Masters team will be available on the day for people to find out more about Masters Swimming and the ASA.

We will also be giving out information about swimming clubs and how to join, as well as asking people to share information to help us understand more about open water swimming.

So please come along on the day to take part, support family and friends, or just to enjoy a nice day out in what is expected to be another beautiful weekend.
