So you’ve completed your training in the pool and you’re ready to take on an open water swim. Well the good news is there’s so many to choose from - new open water swims and triathlons are cropping up every year.

If you're dipping your toes in the world of open water swimming for the first time, your best bet is to contact your nearest triathlon or swimming club who can point you in the direction of group activities.

If it's a mass participation event you're interested in, there are plenty of events around the UK every year where you can start your open water adventure.
