Young coaches and officials are being sought for the Youth Sport Trust National Talent Camp 2015 to take part in an inspiring four day residential experience.
Taking place from Friday 18 – Monday 21 December 2015, the Youth Sport Trust National Talent Camp 2015 will bring together 350 of the country’s most talented young sports people.
Developed and delivered by the Youth Sport Trust, hosted by Loughborough University and funded by Sport England, the camp will be globally unique in that it will not only test and challenge the attendees in an intense multi-sport environment, it will be multi-disciplinary with athletes, coaches and officials sharing the experience and developing in the same environment.
Selected and supported by National Governing Bodies of Sport, young coaches, officials and athletes who have all demonstrated talent within their strand and shown a commitment to push themselves further, will be supported and challenged through a series of theoretical, and practical sessions, designed to take the young people out of their comfort zone and encourage them to realise what it takes to achieve their sporting best.
The National Talent Camp will be followed by a 12 month development programme delivered by the ASA specifically for ASA successful candidates. We will be recruiting 20 young coaches from across the disciplines and 15 young swimming officials for the programme, please see below for information on eligibility and criteria.
