Swim England reveals date for competitive diving event in 2019

The date for the Swim England Diving National Age Group Championships 2019 has been revealed.

Sheffield’s Ponds Forge International Pool will host the the largest national diving competition in England between 27-30 June.

The championships act as a stepping stone for many athletes who have their sights set on competing at the highest level.

Entry information, conditions and the final schedule will be announced in 2019.

Meanwhile, 2019 will see London hosting the prestigious Diving World Series.

Britain’s top divers will get the chance to compete on home soil next year when the event is held at the London Aquatics Centre between 17-19 May as part of the preparation for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.

And British Swimming have arranged three diving events next year.

The British National Diving Cup 2019 will take place at the Plymouth Life Centre from 1-3 February. 

This is followed by the British Elite Junior Diving Championships, which takes place at Ponds Forge from 11-14 April, and the British Diving Championships, which will be held at the Royal Commonwealth Pool, Edinburgh, between 31 May and 2 June.
