Swim England 'delighted' to launch Level X Diving Dryland Games second series

Swim England is ‘delighted’ to announce that we will be hosting a second series of the Level X Diving Dryland Games.

The first edition of the virtual event saw more than 250 entrants taking part in what was described as an ‘exciting and interactive’ event.

Similar to the first contest, participants will be required to complete a series of dryland skills which will then be scored by a panel of judges.

This series will see the introduction of four new skills for the athletes to perform, as well as an expansion of the previous age categories to include an 18+ age group.

The live-streamed event will take place on Saturday 22 May.

Suzie Collins, Swim England Diving talent development officer, said: “The first edition of this event was a huge success, so we are delighted to formally announce a second series.

“The appetite for dryland competitive activity is definitely there and we have seen that throughout our community and the duration of this event.

“The feedback we have received has been overwhelmingly positive and we are thrilled to be opening up this exciting event to our 18+ members.

“We have worked hard to replicate the competition’s format while making sure that the content is different. We have set the athletes new challenges and are excited to see how they fare.”

The top 10 videos in each category will be showcased at our live-streamed Showcase Event event where the winner of each category will be interviewed live on Facebook.

The event is open to all Swim England Category 2 divers, Swim Wales and Scottish Swimming equivalents.

There will also be additional filming requirements to ensure that all entries are judged equally.
