East Region on the hunt for a new Masters Manager to replace Sharon Perry

The Swim England East Region is looking to recruit a new Masters Manager to replace the outgoing Sharon Perry.

Sharon has decided to stand down from the role after three successful years, during which time she has proved a valued asset to the region.

The East Region had been hoping to appoint a replacement ahead of this month’s Annual Council Meeting. However, Sharon has agreed to stay on in an interim basis while her successor is selected.

That has allowed the Swim England East Region Masters Championships – on 29 September – and the Masters Inter-County Competition – on 10 November – to proceed as normal.

Sharon will relinquish her role following the Inter-County Competition and a new Masters Manager is sought to ensure regional competitions can continue beyond November.

The Masters Manager is ably supported by a group of passionate volunteers and is responsible for overseeing the Masters Committee.

If you think you may be able to fill this voluntary post, please view the role description and contact Amy Bryant, the Regional Development Officer, at amy.bryant@swimming.org.

Please also contact Amy if you would like to discuss the role further.
