There are five 50m Free trophies, awarded to the fastest senior and junior (U16) swimmers in the 50m Freestyle at the Swim England National Championships.

Mark Foster TrophyMark Foster Trophy

The Mark Foster Trophy is awarded to the fastest male senior swimmer in the 50m Freestyle at the National Winter Championships (25m).

While the Winter Championships are traditionally a short course event, they were held in the long course 50m pool in 2017.

Jock Young TrophyJock Young Trophy

The Jock Young Trophy is awarded to the fastest female senior swimmer in the 50m Freestyle at the National Winter Championships (25m).

While the Winter Championships are traditionally a short course event, they were held in the long course 50m pool in 2017.

Jock Young was a member of the ASA North East Counties and once their president. He also went on to become ASA Trophies controller.

Until 2015, the trophy was awarded to the fastest female swimmer in the 50m Free at the ASA National Championships (50m).

While the Winter Championships are traditionally a short course event, they were held in the long course 50m pool in 2017.

Until 2015, the trophy was awarded to the fastest male swimmer in the 50m Free at the ASA National Youth Championships (50m).

The Ray Clash Trophy is awarded to the highest ranked female junior swimmer in the 50m Freestyle at the National Winter Championships (25m).

While the Winter Championships are traditionally a short course event, they were held in the long course 50m pool in 2017.

The Ray Clash Trophy was donated to the ASA by the Western Counties ASA in memory and in recognition of the services to swimming of Ray Clash.

Until 2015, the trophy was awarded to the fastest female swimmer in the 50m Free at the ASA National Youth Championships (50m).
