Dates confirmed for 2019 Inter-Regional Championships

The dates and venues for the Inter-Regional Championships 2019 have been confirmed.

Entries for the U18 championships need to be returned by Friday 6 December, 2018, and are scheduled to take place at the end of January and the beginning of February.

The U18 Girls’ Division One games will be hosted by the East Region at the Woodside Leisure Centre, Watford, on the weekend of 26-27 January. Division Two matches will also take place that weekend and will again be hosted by the East Region at Haberdashers’ Aske’s Boys’ School, Watford.

Meanwhile, the U18s Boys’ Division One matches take place on the weekend of 2-3 February and will be hosted by the North East Region at Ponds Forge International Sports Centre, Sheffield.

Ponds Forge will also be the venue for the Division Two fixtures on same weekend.

The U16s Boys’ Division One and Two matches have been scheduled for 29-30 June. Blackpool’s Palatine Leisure Centre will stage the Division One matches, hosted by the North West Region, while the West Midlands Region will host the Division Two games at Walsall Gala Baths. The U16 Girls’ championships will be held on the weekend of 6-7 July at the same venues. Entries for both competitions should be returned by Friday 31 May.

Finally, the U14s championships are due to take place over two weekends at Walsall Gala Baths hosted by the West Midlands Region. The girls’ event will be held on 30 November and 1 December, with the boys’ championships taking place on 7-8 December. All entries must be submitted by Friday 1 November.

Meanwhile, dates and venues for the Swim England Water Polo National Age Group Championships throughout 2019 will be announced in due course.
