Draft dates and venues for Water Polo NAGs Championships 2020 revealed

The draft dates and venues for the Swim England Water Polo National Age Group Championships 2020 have been published.

Preliminary rounds and qualifiers for the U17s and U19s boys and girls competitions will be staged in March and April before the finals and plate contests take place at Basildon Sporting Village on Saturday 2 and Sunday 3 May.

The action will kick off on Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 March with the U17s boys preliminary rounds.

Saturday’s event takes place at Matlock, with Northampton School for Boys hosting Sunday’s action.

The following weekend – 14 and 15 March – sees the U17s girls competing at Northampton School for Boys and Walsall respectively.

Matlock and Haberdashers’ Aske’s Boys’ School will host the U19s preliminary rounds on Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 March.

The U19s girls prelims will also take place at  Haberdashers’ Aske’s Boys’ School on Saturday 4 and Sunday 5 April.

Qualifying rounds for the U17s girls will be at Northampton School for Boys on 21-22 March, with the U17s boys bidding to reach finals day at the same venue on 18-19 April.

The U19s girls qualifiers will be at  Haberdashers’ Aske’s Boys’ School on 18-19 April, while the U19s boys fixtures will be staged at the Lancaster Sale Ayre Leisure Centre on 25-26 April.

Meanwhile, the finals of the U15s Championships are scheduled to take place at the Manchester Aquatics Centre on Saturday 7 and Sunday November 8.
