Date and venue for 2023 U17s and U19s National Age Group Championships

The dates and venue have been confirmed for the Swim England Water Polo National Age Group Championships (U17s and U19s).

Sunderland’s Aquatics Centre will host both events on Saturday 29 and Sunday 30 April.

The early rounds for both competitions are set to take place at various venues across the country in the build up to the competition.

Liverpool Aquatics Centre hosted the 2022 running of the competition with City of Manchester coming out on top in both the Girls U17s and U19s events.

The club had a successful weekend which left coach Izzy Howe speechless as the club doubled on up on national titles on finals day.

Cheltenham and Worthing also became national champions in the U19s and U17s boys competitions respectively.

Further event information, including the conditions and entry pack, will be published here soon.

Elsewhere the Water Polo U18s Inter Regional Championships are set to take place in the coming weeks.

Both the U18’s Boys Division One and Two events will take place on the weekend of January 28-29 with the two Girls divisions taking place the weekend after on 4-5 February.

Swim England’s North West Region will host both Division Ones at the Palatine Leisure Centre in Blackpool.

The Boys Division Two event will take place inside Watford’s Woodside Leisure Centre with Northampton’s School for Boys hosting the Girls Division Two competition. Both of those events are being run by Swim England’s East Region.

Further event dates towards the end of the calendar year will be released in due course.
