Go Swimming has everything you need to know about swimming. If you are a parent, a non swimmer or just want to improve your technique this is the section for you.

In British Swimming you will find information about the world of high performance sport, including the disciplines of Swimming, Diving, Synchronised Swimming, Water Polo and Para-Swimming.

The ASA is the governing body for the sport in England. In this section you will find all you need to know about joining a club or competing in England and becoming a swimming teacher or coach.

The IoS delivers the ASA’s courses and is a member organisation. Whether you are a teacher, coach, employer or club you will find everything you need to know about qualifications or educating your workforce.

The Blue Peter Sport Badge is now open to applications

Blue Peter have launched a brand new badge to inspire children to get a friend involved in sport.

The aim of Blue Peter's new Sport Badge is to increase sport participation across the country and encourage children to act out the legacy of London 2012. It also marks the badge’s 50th anniversary.

To get a sport badge, children must be aged between six and 14 this summer and prove to Blue Peter that they have been a sport ambassador, inspiring a friend to take part in their sport.

Just ask them to fill in the application form on the Blue Peter website and include a photograph of themselves and their friend taking part. The adult in charge of the sport activity will also need to sign the form. Please send completed forms to:
