Aquatics Centre to reopen for public

15 January 2014

The London 2012 Olympic Aquatics Centre is set to open its doors to the public for the first time since the Games.

The iconic venue in the Queen Elizabeth II Olympic Park will host a series of events, galas and public swimming and diving sessions on 1 March 2014 with prices from £4.50 a session.

A month later, the LLDC will reopen the southern section of the park from the main entrance by the Aquatics Centre to the VeloPark.

The Aquatics Centre will play host to the 2014 FINA/NVC Diving World Series in April as well as European Aquatics Championships in 2016.

The venue will also become a Diving High Performance Centre from Spring 2014 with Jane Figueiredo as head coach.
