In British Swimming you will find information about the world of high performance sport, including the disciplines of Swimming, Diving, Synchronised Swimming, Water Polo and Para-Swimming.

The ASA is the governing body for the sport in England. In this section you will find all you need to know about joining a club or competing in England and becoming a swimming teacher or coach.

The IoS delivers the ASA’s courses and is a member organisation. Whether you are a teacher, coach, employer or club you will find everything you need to know about qualifications or educating your workforce.

Aquatics Centre to reopen for public

The London 2012 Olympic Aquatics Centre is set to open its doors to the public for the first time since the Games.

The iconic venue in the Queen Elizabeth II Olympic Park will host a series of events, galas and public swimming and diving sessions on 1 March 2014 with prices from £4.50 a session.

A month later, the LLDC will reopen the southern section of the park from the main entrance by the Aquatics Centre to the VeloPark.

The Aquatics Centre will play host to the 2014 FINA/NVC Diving World Series in April as well as European Aquatics Championships in 2016.

The venue will also become a Diving High Performance Centre from Spring 2014 with Jane Figueiredo as head coach.
