British Summer Championships day two ... the medallists on the roll of honour
July 25, 2019Records and personal bests tumbled on an enthralling day of action at the British Summer Championships in Glasgow.
Day two of the championships saw a number of impressive performances and exciting racing, including one dead heat for the gold medal.
Putteridge’s Lawrence Palmer and City of Oxford’s David Murphy both clocked 27.95 in the Men’s 19 Years and Over 50m Breaststroke to share the title.
And there were a number of other close calls including Derwentside’s Lewis Maxwell winning the Men’s 16 years 100m Backstroke title by 0.01 seconds from silver medallist Samuel Greenbank (Cockermouth).
