Schedule confirmed for rearranged National Age Group Championships finals

The schedule for the rearranged Swim England Water Polo National Age Group Championships finals has been confirmed.

The U17s and U19s boys and girls competition was cancelled after a light fitting shattered at the Liverpool Aquatics Centre on day one of the finals weekend in April.

Sheffield’s Ponds Forge International Pool will now host the championships finals on Spring Bank Holiday Monday (27 May).

Results from the three completed cup semi-finals in the U17s girls and U17s boys event will still stand.

The remaining U17s boys semi-final between West London Penguin and Nova Centurion, which was abandoned after the light shattered, will be replayed on Sunday 19 May.

A total of 12 matches will be played on 27 May on two pitches.

Spectator admission is free

The action begins at 12 noon as the U17s girls final between City of Sheffield and City of Liverpool takes place on pitch one.

The bronze medal match, which will be contested between Cheltenham and Otter, begins at the same time on pitch two.

Both U19s boys semi-finals, between City of Manchester and Watford and City of Sheffield and Newton Abbot, will take place from 1.15pm.

These will be followed at 2.30pm by the U19s girls semi-finals as City of Liverpool and Rotherham will play each other for the right to meet Otter or Welsh Wanderers.

At 3.45pm, the U17s boys final will take place, followed by the U19 girls final at 5pm and the U19s boys final at 6.15pm.

Spectators will be able to watch all the matches free of charge.
