Open Water Development Day - Saturday 28th May 2022

Swim England London hosted an Open Water Development Day on Saturday at Luxborough Lake Chigwell

19 participants aged from 11 to 17 had a very successful day with 2 sessions coached by the Region’s open water coaches – Danny Bunn and Caroline Coales. The first session covered the skills necessary to swim open water effectively which was followed up in the second session when the participants had the opportunity to put the skills they had learnt into practise.

On behalf of the Region, I would also like to thank the other members of the Open Water Committee and coaching team and Dermott Hayes of BeEndurance for their support and help in facilitating and running this day.
