Swim England is the national governing body for swimming in England. We help people learn how to swim, enjoy the water safely, and compete in all our sports.
Our vision is of a nation swimming and we strive to inspire everyone to enjoy the water in the way that suits them.

About Us
In the same year, we also became an incorporated organisation with charitable status.
Find out more about working for us, or read and download our annual reports and governance documents on our about us pages.
What We Do
Our research team provides detailed information about the people who go swimming – and those that don’t – to help develop new initiatives that encourage more people to take advantage of the many health and wellbeing benefits of swimming.
We want to get a nation swimming and for the sport to be truly inclusive for all. Find out more on our what we do pages.
