Swim England London 2025 Elections Update

The 2025 Annual Council Meeting and Annual General Meeting took place on Saturday 12^th April 2025.

Management Board Director Appointments

During the meeting elections took place for the three Management Board Director posts.

The following were elected to the Management Board for 2025-2028:

Jackie Bedford – Beckenham SC
Angela Eguakhide – Romford Town SC
Michael Laniyan  – Newham & UEL SC

President and Vice President Appointments

Congratulations to Debbie Harris who was inaugurated as Swim England London President, during the meeting.

Debbie succeeds John Mills who was President from October 2023 to April 2025.

Debbie’s term will be until the AGM in March/April 2026.

Michael Laniyan was installed as Vice President for the Region and will take over from Debbie when her term comes to an end.
