Swim England London ACM 2024 Elections Update

The 2024 Annual Council Meeting took place on Saturday 13^th April 2024.

Management Board Appointments

During the meeting elections took place for the three Management Board posts.

The following were elected to the Management Board for 2024-2027:

Diane Gamble – Croydon Amphibians SC
Ralph Shortland – Ealing SC
Daniel Vernis – Erith & District SC

Thank you to Stewart Nicklin who retired from the Board this year after 6 years as a member.

President and Vice President Appointments

A moment of silence and reflection was held for the Regional President Flo Barnes, who sadly passed away in October 2023.

Flo was a valued and much loved member of the region for many years and is deeply missed by us all.

Following Flo’s sudden passing, the Region’s Vice President, John Mills, had assumed the role of President and will continue in this role until the ACM in 2025.

Debbie Harris was installed as Vice President for the Region and will take over from John when his term comes to an end.
