Swimming Coaches Forum Chairman Update!

The Region would like to thank John Adye, who is stepping down from his role as Chair of the Swimming Coaches Forum after two years.

Congratulation to Allan Thornton who will be taking over the role of Chair. See Allan’s Bio below

I have coached in London all my career. Initially at Harrow & Wealdstone SC and since 1993 at Ealing SC.

I’ve been a member of the London Coaches forum since 2012 as well as been a previous member of the Middlesex County swimming committee.

I’ve coached on many National, Regional & County development camps working with a wide variety of coaches & swimmers from many clubs and backgrounds. I’ve also been a coach on a number of Regional overseas teams including head coach on a few trips which involved dealing with a number of coaches, team managers & administrators.

I hope to bring some experience to this role of chair of the forum and I look forward to working with all coaches across the Regional.
