Swim England London manages the swimmer development pathway in London region, part of the wider Swim England Talent pathway.
There are a number of annual programmes that are run as part of the overall Swim England Development plan for aquatics. Within Competitive Swimming these are;
Part of the Swim England Talent Pathway, the Regional Development Programme is run as 3x one day training camps for those swimmers aged 12 within the year of competition. The aims of the camp are;
- In the pool, swimmers will learn the basics of effective starts, turns and finishes
- On dry-land, mobility, stability and fundamental movement skills will be covered to enhance start, turn and finishing skills
- Workshops will be delivered for swimmers and parents on the technical emphasis of the programme, nutrition and psychology

A regionally led initiative, the Swim England London Swim Team exists to provide a development opportunity to youth aged swimmers (15+) affiliated to, and training with, a Swim England London registered club who are not currently (within the season) part of the GB Podium or Podium Potential programmes or the Swim England Junior or Performance Squads.
The Swim England London Swim Team will provide selected swimmers with a variety of development opportunities across the course of the swimming season (September-July), consisting of, but not limited to;
- International Swim Meet Abroad
- Athlete Workshops
- Team training days
