Who Do I Talk To?

If you would like to start volunteering speak to the people around you to find out how you can get involved:

Clubs - Speak to your club and find out what their volunteering needs are and how you can offer your time to support the club. They may be willing to take on new ideas so share your thoughts with them, tell your club what you want to become involved with.

Other volunteers – People who are already volunteering will be able to tell you how they got involved and what being a volunteer entails. Speak to them and ask questions. Find out how they got involved, what they get out of volunteering, the roles they do, how long they have been volunteering for, etc. These are the people with the experience and will be able to offer you lots of advice.

Your Region – Your region will be able to offer advice on volunteering at events and local competition as well as pointing you in the right direction towards courses and suitable training opportunities.

If you still have unanswered questions then contact volunteering@swimming.org
