Swim England starts to distribute Awards orders once again

Swim England has started despatching its Awards once again after receiving a number of orders – and ensuring they can be distributed safely while adhering to Government guidelines.

The recognised national governing body for aquatics has now processed all orders received since the lockdown measures brought in to curb the spread of coronavirus were introduced.

Orders placed via the Swim England web shop and directly through the Customer Services team are now being dealt with after precautionary measures were introduced to ensure it was safe for staff to carry out the work.

Due to the changes, orders placed from now onwards will take up to five working days to be despatched.

Jane Nickerson, Swim England Chief Executive, said: “Whilst the pools are closed, this has been a time for many to undertake self-development and we have continued to receive orders for learning resources.

Reviewed how we work

“Some swim schools are also slowly putting in place preparations to reward their students once pools reopen.

“To help facilitate this, we have reviewed how we work and are able to despatch orders while following safe working guidelines.

“We hope this move will support our members and customers during this time.”

Orders will continue to be despatched using Royal Mail and DPD, who have adapted their delivery processes to protect the health of their staff members and customers.

Orders can be placed via shop.swimming.org or by emailing [email protected]
