Inspirational swimmer Jane Asher has set more than 100 World Aquatics Masters World Records since taking up competitive swimming in her fifties.

She has dominated freestyle events across multiple age groups, holding every World, European and British record in the 70–74 category, with many earlier records still unbeaten. Her achievements span both short and long course formats, and she remains one of the most successful Masters swimmers.

Jane has also played a key role in promoting Masters swimming, giving motivational talks and leading training clinics across the UK. Her dedication to the sport was recognised with her induction into the International Swimming Hall of Fame in 2006 and the British Empire Medal in 2018.

She continues to inspire swimmers of all ages through her coaching, mentorship and unwavering passion for the sport.
