Swim England hosting webinars as part of national Clean Sport Week

Swim England is to host two webinars to raise awareness of anti-doping as part of national Clean Sport Week.

Places can now be booked on the seminars, which are taking place on Tuesday 24 and Thursday 26 May.

The Tuesday webinar meeting is at 6.30pm for clubs and coaches and places can be booked by clicking here.

Swim England members can attend a Zoom call at the same time on Thursday 26 May and places can be booked here.

Both sessions will be led by UK Anti-Doping (UKAD) accredited advisor Maria White.

What You See Is 100% Me

They will discuss UKAD’s Protect Your Sport campaign and explore how everyone at a club can play a part in ensuring the sport remains clean.

The theme of National Clean Sport Week, which runs from 23-27 May, is What You See Is 100% Me – UKAD’s athlete education programme.

Throughout Clean Sport Week, there will be information about the anti-doping process ahead of the Commonwealth Games, the impacts of doping and the importance of education.

Latest research in to the public’s perception of doping on sport will also be published throughout the week along with details on how elite athletes prepare for a major Games.

Further details on Clean Sport Week 2022 can be found on UKAD’s website.
