Entries for Swimathon 2024 are now open – dive in and raise money for charity

Entries for Swimathon 2024 are now open and Swim England members can receive an exclusive discount to enter and help raise money for charity throughout the campaign.

Swimathon is the world’s largest annual fundraising swim and between 26-28 April more than 450 swimming pools across the United Kingdom are taking part to support Marie Curie and Cancer Research UK.

The challenge is designed so that those of any ability can take part. Swimmers are able to choose to swim a number of distances ranging from 400m’s to the triple 5k or the 30.9k challenge – which is all the other distances combined.

And if you can’t complete the challenge during Swimathon weekend, you can still join up and take part with MySwimathon.

MySwimathon runs from 19 April – 5 May where you can complete your chosen distance at any time and any place that suits you.

More than 8,000 swimmers took part last year, raising an astonishing £1.2 million for the two charities, smashing their £1 million target, and in 2024 you can get involved to help both charities and your local pool.

Swim England Just Swim members will receive an exclusive discount code via email on Monday 23 October which will reduce the entry price to just £7.50 and for a limited time only it’s completely free for U16s!

You can sign up for a Just Swim membership in time to receive the code here. For non-members, prices begin at £8.25 until the Super-Early-Bird period ends.

Once you register, you will be rewarded with your own Swimathon cap and medal and a JustGiving page will be automatically created making it the easiest than ever to organise your fundraising.
