Insurance
Insurance is a must if you are going to contemplate running a Swim School – it cannot be considered as an optional extra!
Of course as a member of IoS you already enjoy some cover but it’s not enough, particularly if you are going to work with others – whatever the employment arrangements.
IoS membership and insurance cover will only cover the individual swim teacher under their name. If you are setting up a swim school under a different name or if there will be other teachers working for or with you then you will need separate business insurance to cover the swim school name.
