Below is some information on Insurance for your swim school

Insurance is a must if you are going to contemplate running a Swim School – it cannot be considered as an optional extra!

Of course as a member of IoS you already enjoy some cover but it’s not enough, particularly if you are going to work with others – whatever the employment arrangements.

IoS membership and insurance cover will only cover the individual swim teacher under their name. If you are setting up a swim school under a different name or if there will be other teachers working for or with you then you will need separate business insurance to cover the swim school name.

If you are an ASA afiliated Swim School you are able to take advantage of a discounted insurance rate through our insurers Perkins Slade if you wish to take up this benefit or discuss taking out Swim School business insurance contact them on 0121 698 8050.
