Workforce Development Plan

Swim England will develop a teacher up-skilling training plan, presented in a structured format. This will ensure a standard approach across your teaching team and provide industry updates and best practice recommendations. The delivery of this plan will be individualised and training will be accessed using online systems, as outlined below:

E-Learning – Learners are able to study at their own pace online

It includes:

  • Lesson Planning
  • Adult Swimming
  • Introduction to Disability Swimming
  • Introduction to teaching the four strokes
  • Basics of front crawl and the four strokes

CPD – 3hrs – Choice of selected Swim England CPDs to meet your workforce needs. Enquire for further details.

Learn to Swim – Online drop in session – 1hr x 2 Sessions – Pre training plan meeting to run through the development plan, then post training plan to explain actions and further recommendations.
