UK Coaching Coach Development Programmes

Swim England nominate coaches to coach development programmes run by UK Coaching.

We are in fact the National Governing Body (NGB) with the largest number of coaches populating these programmes and we are very proud of our excellent relationship with UK Coaching.

These programmes are aimed at coaches from across every Olympic and Paralympic sport (and other eligible non-Olympic sports), who are specifically working in the Talent and Performance stages of the athlete development pathway.

Typically, Swim England nominate coaches who have already completed the Aspire Pathway Coach Programme and have had a minimum of 1-2 years’ experience of coaching within the Talent pathways at national level.
