Officiating is essential to the successful operation of sport in the UK. It is also a great way to learn a new skill and meet new people.
Officials are an integral part of swimming events, without the support of volunteers as officials many of the events would just not happen. Officials must work together as a team to ensure that the rules are followed, safety is at its highest, and fairness is at the forefront of the competition.
