Accreditation Evidence and Resources

Many documents have been designed to support you with your swim21 Evidence File. This note hopes to explain the evidence and resource element of the swim21 process.

If you have already begun the accreditation process* you will have a swim21 folder . In the folder there is a section titled ‘Evidence Support’ matrices that list for each module:

  1. Element Reference Number
  2. The Element
  3. Recommendations/ examples of evidence that you can submit for each element
  4. The titles of Resources/ Templates/ Information Sheets/ Workshops that will support you to reach the criteria
  5. Reference Number
  6. If we can not provide the resource on this CD, we direct you to where you can source/locate the resource or information
  7. Lastly, whether the support is a Resource (R), Template (T), Information Sheet (I) or Workshop (WS)

Within the folder titled ‘Resources-Templates-Info Sheets’ you will find all the resources that have been referred to in the matrices. These have been placed within the appropriate module and correspond with the Reference Number given.

Please note that all disciplines (Diving, Swimming, Synchro & Waterpolo) should refer to these resources – many of them apply across the disciplines.

* If you have any queries or would like to begin the accreditation process please contact your County Swimming Co-ordinator.
