The ASA remains totally committed to child safeguarding and as a result has become one of the first major sports to be successful in achieving the NSPCC Advanced Level Standard for Safeguarding and Protecting Children in Sport.

A key strategic initiative has been to engage with our young membership and listen to their needs and actively seek their input and feedback so we can provide information, guidance and resources which meet their needs. The panel praised the ASA for this excellent communication and the exciting new resources which have been developed and implemented for our younger members. The new Child Power website and leaflet dedicated to our younger members has received particular praise and we would invite all visitors to the website to take a look.
